The
Toyota Fun-Vii car isn't like any concept car we've ever seen — the interior and exterior are covered with a display panel, and the door is touch sensitive. Navigation information displays directly on the interior, and Toyota says the images both inside and out can be changed with a simple download. The software behind the controls can be updated through a network connection, which also links to other vehicles for detecting cars in the blind spots or finding friends driving nearby. Initially the drive train was not known but it was revealed to be a pure electric vehicle with wireless recharging at the So Paulo show. Specifications were not given. The car is able to navigate by itself in "auto-pilot" lanes. A network update function makes sure the software versions for the vehicle’s drive, control and multimedia system are always up-to-date,
although Toyota hasn’t made it clear what the Fun-Vii’s powertrain would be.
